Judith Wiese, Siemens – The value of work (working title)
The keynote/panel will make the connection between meaningful, purpose-giving work and overall peace and stability. When people have jobs that fulfill them and allow them to support themselves and others, society is more stable and less conflict-prone as a result. While exploring this topic Judith will touch on what the young leaders in attendance can do to embrace their own purpose, how they can encourage those in their own networks to do so, and how tools like AI are democratizing knowledge and helping people boost their own employability.

In her role as Chief People and Sustainability Officer (CPSO), Member of the Managing Board, and Labor Director at Siemens AG, Judith Wiese shapes the future of work for more than 300,000 people at Siemens and beyond, while driving sustainability – for customers, planet and society, and the company's own operations. She studied at the universities of Rotterdam, Muenster and Duisburg/Essen, holds an MBA and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. Judith joined Siemens in 2020, bringing more than 20 years of leadership across multinational corporations, including DSM N.V. and Mars Inc.
