  Olympic Champion Swimmer and Vice President, Canadian Olympic Committee

  Mark Tewksbury first came to prominence as a record-breaking backstroke swimmer. His sixteen-year athletic career included 21 national titles, 7 world records, Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals, and a cover appearance on TIME magazine. When he publicly came out in 1998, Mark was one of the first openly gay Olympic Champions in the world and has been a leader with the global 2SLGBTQ+ movement ever since. Mark has been one of the most sought-after inspirational speakers since taking to the podium over 30 years ago. Since 2007, Mark and business partner, Olympic coach Debbie Muir, have brought their Great Traits leadership training programs to thousands of corporate audiences worldwide. In 2019, he was awarded a Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award for his work in gender inclusion and sexual diversity. In 2020, Mark was appointed Companion of the Order of Canada, the nation’s highest civilian honor. In 2022, Mark represented Canada as part of the Honours Procession at Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral.

  Samir Lakhani is the Founder and Executive Director of Eco-Soap Bank, an organization employing women worldwide to recycle leftover soap scrap for children in need. He is a social entrepreneur dedicated to restoring health and dignity in developing countries. Samir received a CNN Heroes Award, Forbes 30 under 30 award, Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Award, Rotary Presidential Peacebuilding Award, One Young World Ambassador, Lead2030 award winner, Duke-UNICEF Innovation Awardee, amongst others. He also recently gave a TEDx Talk. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and currently lives in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA.

  Taylor is Founder of Tailored Food: a non-profit social enterprise consultancy that partners with food entrepreneurs, farmers, market vendors, and the world's largest UN agencies and food companies to ensure nutritious delicious low-cost food is available to families suffering from malnutrition. Taylor and his team are building a grassroots movement to end hunger by 2030. Taylor has worked across a range of organisations including: UNICEF, the UN World Food Programme,the World Bank, Save the Children, Mercy Corps, Impossible Foods, and Unilever and others over the last 8 years. Across these organisations, he has prioritised working towards the UN SDG of Zero Hunger. He moved to Liberia during the Ebola outbreak, and used his background as a food anthropologist to build a Liberian-owned business that produces nutritious low-cost delicious food for consumers in extreme poverty. He has since taken this model to work in 30 countries, from Haiti to Congo, while also scaling up this approach in leadership roles with UNICEF and the UN World Food Programme.

  Lisa is an advisor at the National Indigenous Australians Agency. She empowers young indigenous people through system, disruption, capacity building, and ecosystem development. Lisa is passionate about using systems thinking, indigenous knowledge and co-design principles to address complex problems. Lisa is the co-founder of the social enterprise, Yuludaria Karulbo, and collaborates with Indigenous communities to provide interactive cultural workshops for schools and businesses. These workshops help embed cultural capability in workplaces and offer opportunities for young Indigenous facilitators to reconnect with their heritage, earn income and also improve their confidence. Lisa has experience in the Indigenous Affairs space across government and community settings spanning the fields of economic development, community development, employment and education.
