  Nuha founded erthos while still completing her Business & Environmental Economics degree at the University of Toronto (Rotman). Ethos is a climate technology company reducing global plastic dependency by scaling biomaterial adoption. She focused on scaling the company to a team of 20+, raising millions in venture capital, and launching global manufacturing pilots to tackle the issue worldwide. As an entrepreneur in an emerging technology space, Nuha plays an active role in supporting the development of the diverse innovation ecosystem in Canada and Globally. From serving as a board member of National sustainability organizations and accelerators like Canada Plastics Pact and Enactus Canada to mentoring young entrepreneurs and women in STEM, she is dedicated to supporting next-generation leaders who are collectively working together to positively impact this planet.

  Mrs. Ruiz is National Good Will Ambassador for the SDG 17 and as First Lady has committed her efforts to these priority subjects: nourishment in early childhood (strengthening the most important infrastructures for children, THEIR BRAINS and THEIR SOULS); the Sacúdete (“Shake Yourself”) Strategy, a network designed to inspire young people to develop talents, abilities and leadership skills, contributing to social and productive change in the country; and zero tolerance to violence against children.

  For over 15 years, I've dedicated my career to advancing initiatives that foster a more just and sustainable world.

  I co-founded Myzelio, a rapidly growing sustainability consultancy known for its hands-on approach, adaptability, scalability, and global reach. We provide sustainability and impact advising services to organizations leading the way to a regenerative future, making a tangible difference on a global scale. My passion for innovation drives my work.

  Recognizing the importance of new narratives and experiences in building the regenerative future we deserve, I am also involved with Mundo Común, an NGO dedicated to creating a future rooted in care and interdependence.

  Prior to launching Myzelio, I spent seven years at AB InBev, where I led sustainability efforts at local, regional, and global levels, culminating in my role as Global Director for Nature. I was responsible for integrating nature across the company’s global value chain and managed operations for the 100+ Accelerator program for over four years. My experience extends to being a startup board member, an angel investor, and co-founding Still New, a startup specializing in sustainable fashion for children.

  Before my work in the private sector, I contributed to global environmental efforts at the World Wildlife Fund, where I was involved in communications, international climate negotiations from COP19 to COP22, and local advocacy.

  Nike’s passion lies at the intersection of sustainable development, social innovation, and cross-sector collaboration for positive societal change. He brings his international outlook from growing up in five countries, to Deloitte’s Global Purpose and Social Impact team, where he is focused on the role of the private sector to make a positive impact on people and planet. Nike works on Deloitte’s partnership with One Young World, the United Nations, and also focuses on Deloitte’s WorldClass initiative to support 100 million people gain access to education and skills development opportunities. Nike currently resides in New York City and has a degree in international relations from Columbia University. Prior to his current roles, he pursued a professional football/soccer career and worked at the United Nations Population Fund.
