Bridging The Rural-Urban Divide through Innovation in Public Transport
The workshop delves into the contemporary challenges facing European public transport, with a particular focus on Germany. Currently, public transport systems are not universally accessible, compelling a significant portion of the population to rely on private vehicles. This session explores various strategies to bridge the rural-urban mobility gap by incorporating physical, digital, and commercial innovations into daily public transportation. The goal is to find ways to enhance public transport in areas where it is most needed and can create the greatest impact.
