This session will bring together experts from non-profit organisations who are tackling the climate and ecological crisis from the third sector. As governments around the world continue to fail to respond adequately to climate change, this session will explore how non-profits prioritise community actions, and local engagement in their efforts to implement meaningful change.

In her current role as Director of Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising, Kayla leads AquaAction's brand and communications strategy to educate, inspire, and activate our growing and diverse community.

Samantha ThianFounder of SeastainableSamantha Thian
Founder of Seastainable
Ms. Samantha Thian is the founder of Seastainable, her 5-9 passion project which she started in 2017 to give back to marine conservation ASEAN. She was also responsible for the cleanup movement #EastCoastBeachPlan in 2020 garnering over 3,000 people in Singapore to take action, and for the development of Stridy (a tech-based solution to community cleanups). She had the privilege of being the Youth Program Coordinator for COP28 in partnership with the Singapore Pavilion, where she was responsible for the youth programs and working with the Climate Youth Development Program participants. In her 9-5, she works as the Deputy Head of Operations for the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group II, Technical Support Unit.

Bodhi is a UN-recognized, award-winning GenZ ocean-climate “Solutionist” dedicated to improving the interconnectedness between ocean health and human health. He is the Founder & CEO of Inner Light, empowering a generation to build resilience from the inside out for people and planetary wellbeing. As an ocean champion, he works to increase ocean justice, policy, investment, and action with a global community of young ocean leaders he co-created - Ocean Uprise. He has been featured by the United Nations, Economist Impact, Apple, and has presented to world leaders at over 12 global climate conferences. Intergenerational Collaboration is a key tool he accelerated for ocean super collaboration, impact acceleration and bridge building between hundreds of environmental organizations, governments, and communities. His ocean advocacy and consulting work has helped to shape global marine policy, influence large planet-positive investment portfolios, and educate millions to protect the environment.
