Effective Campaigning for Social Change
Join us for an engaging and transformative workshop led by a seasoned Syrian-American civil rights activist and humanitarian advocate. This session will equip delegates with practical skills and strategies to create and execute impactful campaigns. Drawing from over a decade of experience at Amnesty International, Oxfam and the ACLU, this workshop will cover essential elements of campaign strategy, including goal setting, power mapping, stakeholder engagement, and tactical execution. Participants will engage in interactive exercises, working in breakout groups to design their own campaign strategies, and receive feedback from peers and the facilitator. By the end of the session, Delegates will leave feeling confident and energised, ready to use their voices as a tool for change in their communities. Whether you are an individual activist, part of a group, or representing an organisation, this workshop will provide valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your campaigning efforts.
