Roze Wesby is the Head of Plans of Tomorrow at Holcim. Through Plants of Tomorrow, Holcim is boosting the competitive edge of its operations and products, and optimizing its environmental footprint. Responsible for leading the largest roll-out of Industry 4.0 technologies in the building materials industry, Roze oversees a global team that scouts for, develops, deploys, scales and operates cutting-edge digital and process innovation technologies across more than 130 integrated cement plants and more than 50 countries. Since her appointment, Plants of Tomorrow has completed over 2000 deployments of Industry 4.0 technology across Holcim operations, collectively delivering CHF 100 Million in annual financial impact to business performance and saving more than half a million tonnes of CO2 from operations. Roze began her career as a cross-industry management consultant, where she executed complex and large-scale business transformations at clients from Manufacturing to Financial Services. Prior to joining Holcim, Roze was Global Director, Digital Transformation in Process Industries at ABB. During her tenure and equivalent roles in the Mining and Transportation sectors, she developed the digital solutions offering and sales pipeline based on value-engineering for the group. She is a Design Thinking practitioner and has specialized in identifying and leveraging new technologies, methodologies and commercial and business models to accelerate innovation at scale. Roze is an industry thought leader and public speaker on digital transformation, and has acted as strategic advisor to national governments and the European Commissioners for Energy and Transportation. She holds a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter, in the United Kingdom. She has acted as the Business Case Head Judge for Formula Student, the largest undergraduate automotive engineering competition in the world.

Alyssa-Amor is an Architeer—a multidisciplinary designer focused on creating environmentally conscious, energy-efficient, and resilient architecture. Her work reflects a deep respect for nature and our interconnectedness with the world. With an MEng(Hons) in Structural Engineering and Architecture, she specializes in Building Information Modelling (BIM), fueling her passion for delivering architecture that continuously pursues optimization and synergistic design. In addition to her architectural work, Alyssa-Amor serves as a LEED and WELL advisor and Sustainability Analyst for SOCOTEC US, with a focus on the sustainable certification of buildings in hot and humid climates. She leverages her expertise to integrate human-centric, wellness-based design into her projects. A TED Speaker, TED Ambassador, and winner of the TED Idea Search Latin America: A New Era, Alyssa-Amor emphasizes the importance of drawing architectural inspiration from indigenous vernaculars, believing that learning from the past can help shape a more secure future. In her boutique architectural studio, she designs with the conviction that, in our pursuit of the fundamental human right to shelter, we should tread lightly and respectfully across our physical and cultural landscapes. Recently named one of TIME’s Next Generation Leaders, Alyssa-Amor is currently engaged in groundbreaking projects, including futureCity[x], a visionary initiative addressing the challenges of rapid urbanization and forced migration, particularly in the Global South, as exacerbated by climate change.
