  Myron Brilliant is a senior counselor with Dentons Global Advisors-ASG (DGA-ASG), a premier global strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, where he works with Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits to manage geopolitical risk, execute international growth and ESG strategies, and address trade and regulatory challenges. He advises clients across a wide range of sectors and geographies, specializing in China, the Middle East, Brazil, and Mexico, among other markets, as well as EU and multilateral institutions. Brilliant also serves as senior advisor to the president and CEO of the Atlantic Council, a prominent global think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. In this role, Brilliant provides strategic advice to the Council’s president and Executive Office and supports special projects throughout the organization, focusing on U.S. engagement with China and the Middle East. The Atlantic Council is a long-standing nonpartisan organization dedicated to helping the United States and its partners play a constructive role in international affairs. In addition, Brilliant is the founder of Brilliant Impact Group, LLC, which helps clients in developing and executing international-focused strategies, drawing upon an extensive career working on complex and consequential business, trade, and legal issues.

  Da Wei is the director of the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua, and professor of department of International Relations, school of Social Science, Tsinghua University. Dr. Da ’s research expertise covers China-US relations and US security & foreign policy. Da Wei has worked in China’s academic and policy community for more than 2 decades. Prior to current positions, Dr. Da Wei was the assistant president of University of International Relations (2017-2020), director of the Institute of American Studies, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (2013-2017). He has written hundreds of policy papers to Chinese government, and published dozens of academic papers on journals in China, the US and other countries. Da Wei earned his BA and MA from UIR, and his Ph.D. from CICIR. He was a visiting senior fellow at the Atlantic Council of the United States from 2006 to 2007, and a visiting senior associate at SAIS, Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2009.

  Koen Smeets (史凯恩) is a scholar-practitioner of US-China academic relations. Deeply concerned about the drastic drop of Americans studying in China in recent years, Koen is dedicated to strengthening the relationship through research, facilitation, and media.
  As a Yenching Scholar, he leads a team of over 20 students preserving an oral history of the re-establishment and contemporary state of US-China through the ‘China Hands’ podcast (https://chinahands.buzzsprout.com). Based on these interviews, he is currently writing a book that he aims to publish in English and Mandarin on both sides of the Pacific.
  He has facilitated and participated in roundtables with American university and think tank delegations to China, been featured in American and Chinese media, and presented his research at various conferences and think tanks. Koen is also the Head of International Students at Peking University Innovation Club (PKUIC), the largest club on campus with over 3800+ members.
  Throughout his work focused on each continent, Koen was an organiser, mentor, and speaker in the MIT ecosystem, interviewed over 60 world leaders on US-China relations and technology, and was a Young Ambassador at Carnegie China. Koen is from the Netherlands.

  Ose Ehianeta Arheghan (they/them) is the 12th UNA-USA Youth Observer to the United Nations. Armed with valuable insights gained as a student organizer who focused on the rights of queer and trans youth of color, Black Lives Matter, Title IX, and sexual and reproductive health, Arheghan is determined to continue bridging the gap between youth-led movements for a better future and the policymakers who have the authority to enshrine transformative change. Combining journalism with political advocacy, Arheghan's work spans topics like LGBTQ+ policy, arts, and culture for a focus on Sustainable Development Goals 10, 16 and 17. Their journalism can be found in NPR, The Advocate, GLSEN.org and GLAAD AMP. In their capacity as the Youth Observer, Arheghan champions education, amplifies youth voices, and advocates for increased representation to bring about a more equitable and progressive tomorrow. They have represented UNA-USA at the UN General Assembly, ECOSOC Youth Forum, the World Food Forum, and numerous youth engagement conferences and workshops across the US and abroad. Arheghan is a Harry S. Truman Scholar (’21), GLAAD 20 under 20 Rising Star (’20), Matthew Shepard Foundation Spirit of Matthew awardee (’18) and GLSEN National Student Advocate of the Year (’17).

  A long-time television news anchor, special reputation for his interviews with world leaders including Nobel Peace Prize laureates President Jimmy Carter, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, and Professor Muhammad Yunus, as well as Christine Lagarde, Jane Goodall, and Madam Peng Liyuan among others. At the United Nations, Mr. Chau is the World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goals, appointed by WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan, and re-appointed by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Previously, he served as UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador, the first person in China named to this role. Born in London, Mr. Chau studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music and graduated from Cambridge University and King’s College London. He completed an Executive Education course on Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a One Young World Counsellor.
