  Amrita Bhasin is an award-winning founder, climate activist, journalist, creative writer and visionary Gen Z changemaker. Amrita is the CEO and co-founder of Sotira, a VC backed logistics software company tackling the $800 billion overstock and returns problem. Sotira is backed by $2 million in funding from Unusual Ventures, Soma Capital, Commerce Ventures, K5 Global and others. Sotira has received the leading awards in retail and logistics innovation for enabling retailers and brands to offload and monetize millions of pounds of surplus inventory in a sustainable way and thereby reduce waste. Amrita is a 776 Climate Fellow (1 of 20 selected out of 1600 by Alexis Ohanian, the founder of Reddit) and Halcyon Climate Fellow. Amrita is a frequent speaker on climate, circular economy and recommerce at international tech conferences and summits such as TechCrunch Disrupt, Shoptalk, Reverse Logistics Association Conference, Home Delivery World and HumanX. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Amrita has been recognized by and awarded grants by the State of California and Stop Waste and has been featured in Forbes, Fox, Bloomberg, Business Insider, TechCrunch, Huffington Post, Fortune, Modern Retail and Reuters for her work building Sotira and her impact in the retail sustainability space. Amrita was a finalist contestant on Meet the Drapers, Tim Draper's (billionaire VC) reality TV startup competition that is televised internationally.

  Ala’a AlSoudi is a water and environmental engineer and the founder of Limonene, a Jordan-based startup offering sustainable water treatment solutions for agriculture and local communities. Growing up in a farming family in a water-scarce region inspired her to develop local, circular solutions to climate challenges. Limonene treats greywater using eco-friendly filters, promotes composting, and applies precision irrigation to conserve resources. Ala’a has trained over 500 students in agriculture, environmental practices, and soilless farming. She is passionate about empowering rural communities to lead climate action and hopes to scale this impact through global collaboration.

  Stanley Chidubem Anigbogu is a Nigerian innovator, storyteller, and social entrepreneur passionate about solving real-world challenges at the intersection of climate, design, and community. He is the Founder and CEO of LightEd, a cleantech venture that transforms plastic and electronic waste into solar-powered energy solutions for underserved and displaced populations across Africa.

  Motivated by his own experience with energy poverty, Stanley launched LightEd to bring clean, affordable energy to those who need it most. His work is grounded in circular economy principles, designing products that repurpose waste into valuable tools for education, livelihood, and sustainability. So far, he has impacted over 30,000 people, including 10,000+ refugees, and trained 6,000+ young people in climate education and hands-on innovation. From the self-assembled Glow Lamp to the modular LightHouse Charging Station, his solutions turn pollution into power and spark local opportunity.

  Stanley’s work has earned global recognition, including the 2025 Commonwealth Young Person Of The Year, UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour, World Bank Youth Summit Winner, Echoing Green Fellow, .ORG Impact Award, and the Swarovski Foundation Creatives for Our Future Award.

  Beyond his venture, Stanley is a strong advocate for circular design, youth innovation, and climate justice. He believes in the power of young people to reimagine systems, and in using waste as a resource to build a more inclusive, regenerative future. Through storytelling, community-building, and scalable impact, Stanley continues to inspire others to lead with empathy, creativity, and bold purpose.

  Joseph Nguthiru is a climate-tech engineer passionate about sustainability, and transforming livelihoods through positive impact.
  The Presidential Awardee for the best innovator in Kenya, his works include designing the solar dryer being used to revive the country’s pyrethrum farming, and a circular economy startup called HyaPak that converts water hyacinth (the world's most problematic aquatic weed), into biodegradable alternatives to single-use plastic products.
  Joseph is also the co-founder of M-Situ, a startup that uses AI as an early warning system for deforestation, wildfires, and charcoal burning.
  Joseph is an Obama Leader and part of 40 Under 40 Africa.

  Enaleia

  I am the fifth generation of a fishing family from Greece and the co-founder of Enaleia, a social enterprise dedicated to restoring the marine ecosystem while creating value for fishing communities.

  At Enaleia, we established Greece’s first fishing school and launched the Mediterranean Cleanup—one of the largest marine plastic removal initiatives in the region. This program mobilizes over 6,000 fishers across five countries to collect discarded fishing nets and marine plastic daily. So far, we have retrieved more than 2 million kilograms of plastic—equivalent to 20% of the plastic that enters Greece’s seas annually. Over 58% of this material is reintegrated into the circular economy to produce products such as kayaks, with full transparency ensured through third-party audits and open-source blockchain certification.

  I was honored to be named the United Nations European Young Champion of the Earth in 2020 and Ambassador for the Mediterranean Coast by UNEP-MAP in 2022. I am also an Ashoka Fellow, a European Young Leader by Friends of Europe, a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a member of the Greek Forbes 30 Under 30 list of 2020.
