From Colour-Blind to Colour-Full: Lets Talk About Race
What happens when two South African women of different racial backgrounds, carrying the legacy of Apartheid, collide unexpectedly? They become besties and start a podcast exploring the realities of race and privilege through personal stories. From behind the mic, we’ve learned that diversity is what truly connects us to the human experience. Ignoring it keeps us trapped in cycles of societal polarisation and solutions that don’t address the roots of racism. This session is about honest conversations, personal power, and the everyday choices that help dismantle racism. Our goal is to spark empathetic curiosity; the kind that makes diversity something we don’t just talk about, but live together.
