Ezgi Barcenas is the Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer of L'Oréal Groupe and Chief Executive Officer of the Fondation L'Oréal, as well as a member of the Group's Executive Committee. She is responsible for L'Oréal's global sustainability strategy, the L'Oréal for the Future program, which focuses on stewarding the climate transition, safeguarding nature, driving circularity and supporting communities. Her mission is to future-proof the business by enabling environmental, social and economic sustainability across its value chain. Moreover, she oversees the L'Oréal Fund for Nature Regeneration, Fund for Women, and Climate Emergency Funds, which were created to build resilience and empower communities. Under her leadership, L’Oréal launched a Sustainable Innovation Accelerator, endowed with 100 million euros over 5 years to catalyze breakthrough technologies for its sustainability transformation. Prior to joining L'Oréal, Barcenas served as Chief Sustainability Officer at AB InBev. Her leadership and commitment to sustainability have earned her numerous accolades, including being named TIME magazine's TIME100 Climate list and receiving the Sustainability Trailblazer award from Reuters Responsible Business (2022). Barcenas holds a Bachelor's in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, a Master's in Environmental Health from Harvard School of Public Health, and an MBA from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
