Gina Vargiu-Breuer is SAP’s Chief People Officer and Labor Director, as well as a Member of the Executive Board. In her role, Vargiu-Breuer leads the People & Culture organization and owns SAP’s global People Agenda.
Vargiu-Breuer brings over 20 years of experience in international human resources to SAP. Before joining SAP, she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Siemens Energy for more than four years. During this time, she spearheaded the company’s spin-off from Siemens AG and successfully drove the transformation for 94,000 employees. Her work focused on building the entire HR value chain and implementing a new operating model that seamlessly integrated business processes with HR. Her transformative efforts significantly shaped Siemens Energy’s working environment and corporate culture.
Prior to this, Vargiu-Breuer held various positions at Siemens AG, including Senior Vice President for Global HR in the Gas & Power, Service & Digital division. During this time, she gained both technical expertise and extensive experience in global business management, international talent development, and organizational transformation.
Vargiu-Breuer holds a master’s degree in Economic Psychology from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany.
