  President and CEO, United Way Worldwide

  Before joining United Way Worldwide, Angela served as President and CEO of Easterseals, the nation’s leading nonprofit provider of disability services. She also held the roles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Administration Officer at YMCA of the USA. Her public service career includes serving as a Federal prosecutor and military officer in the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) for over six years. She also served as a special counsel on criminal law for Senator Edward M. Kennedy on the Senate Judiciary Committee staff, where she helped draft the Hate Crime bill. She also prosecuted cases for the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division's National Church Arson Task Force. Angela has been recognized among the NonProfit Times’ Power and Influence Top 50 in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She was included in Forbes' 2021 List of Women Over 50 Creating Social Change at Scale and received a 2021 CEO Today Healthcare Award. In December 2023, Inside Philanthropy named her one of "The 50 Most Powerful Women in U.S. Philanthropy." Angela serves on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics Council, co-chaired by Sam Altman, CEO and Co-founder of OpenAI. The council advises on ethical issues related to artificial intelligence, focusing on human dignity, equity, inclusion, and its impact on underserved communities. Angela earned a Bachelor’s degree in American Government from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, and a Master of Divinity cum laude from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She resides between Chicago and Metropolitan Washington, D.C., with her husband, the Reverend Roderick Williams. Angela is an ordained minister and a volunteer pastor at the Chicago Apostolic Center.

  As a volunteer teacher with United Way, Csenge contributes to literacy and reading programmes for primary students, helping them develop essential skills for their future. Representing United Way at this conference is an honor, reflecting Csenge’s passion for advocating quality education and community-driven change. With aspirations to take on greater leadership roles in education initiatives, Csenge is committed to ensuring that more children have access to the resources they need to succeed.

  Taylor Bottle is from the Blood Tribe she is Blackfoot and Dene'tha. Her Blackfoot name is Naatoyi’potaki (Sacred Flying Woman).
  Taylor is a Youth Elder and Youth Cultural Support Worker in her community; she is also a student Majoring in BA - Anthropology and Minoring in Indigenous Studies and Peace and Conflict. Taylor is a 2024 Miss Indigenous Canada Contest and will now be a 2025 One Young World Delegate.

  Taylor is very compassionate and dedicated to empowering youth to participate in social changes and community involvement as they are the leaders of today.

  Taylor enjoys taking on challenges to make positive changes within her community. She has spoken about the role of being a youth elder within her community and the importance of having positive role models at the Third International Congress on Mental Health and Addiction Prevention with Planet Youth, in Guanajuato, Mexico from November 29 to December 1, 2023.

  Taylor has also sat on the Blackfoot Youth Water Council where they held events to empower the youth voice and water issues within their community. In the summer of 2024 Taylor worked with other members of the Blackfoot Youth Water Council & Siksika Youth to create a zine that will be presented at conferences to share how the water issue impact the youth within the community.

  Taylor has also represented her community on a national stage running for Miss Indigenous Canada during the inaugural year of the pageant. Taylor proudly represented her community and her platform focused on empowering the youth voice.

  Abhinaya is a changemaker with a background in Sociology, committed to building inclusive and sustainable communities. Her journey began with a strong interest in education, social equity and environmental action, which has grown into grassroots work and cross-sector collaborations.

  As an Associate at United Way of Chennai, Abhinaya leads initiatives across health, education and the environment. She has implemented projects including inclusive classrooms for children with disabilities, sustainable livelihood opportunities, smart classroom setups and health kit distribution for vulnerable groups. Her role involves strategising CSR partnerships, facilitating volunteer engagement and ensuring measurable impact.

  Her commitment to sustainability extends to her role as Project Lead with the Global Shapers Community – Chennai Hub, where she drives Eco Bags, a circular economy project transforming newspaper waste into paper bags while engaging marginalised communities. She also initiated a Thrift Drive, promoting responsible consumption and affordable clothing access. Both reflect her interest in social entrepreneurship, behaviour change communication and grassroots mobilisation.

  Previously, Abhinaya led the School Transformation Programme, working with the State Education Department to build equitable learning environments in public schools. She has also volunteered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), contributing to research on CSR and philanthropic investments linked to SDG 17. As an Impact Young Leader with the Global Governance Initiative (GGI), she explored policy and governance interventions.

  Recognised as a strong team player, Abhinaya excels in forging partnerships across corporates, government and civil society organisations. Her strengths lie in social entrepreneurship, community engagement, storytelling for impact and building sustainable models.
