Aliya Ismael is a human rights activist committed to advancing women’s rights and confronting human rights abuses across the Arab world. As Program Coordinator at Women Journalists without Chains, she designs media and youth initiatives, builds digital platforms for grassroots training, and champions freedom of expression. She has led humanitarian projects supporting war-affected Yemeni communities through Haith Al-Insan and advocated for indigenous rights and justice at the Nobel Women’s Initiative in Guatemala. As President of The Future is Female organization at Georgetown University in Qatar, Aliya continues to mobilize movements that amplify women’s voices and drive systemic change.
